This hamlet is situated quite close to Macharaviaya. It is distinguished by being the birthplace of the well known and popular poet Salvador Rueda ( 1857-1933 ). Poet, novelist and dramatist, his work, of great range and diversity on mainly Andalusian themes, influenced many writers of his time, particularly the early works of another significent novelist, Juan Ramon Jimenez. There is a small museum in memory of Salvador Rueda which can be visited by the public.
